Meditation for Peace and Creativity

Meditation, correctly done, re-designs the synapses of the neurons in our brain. It changes the pattern of the flow of electric impulses within the brain-matter. Therefore, it helps in making the mind peaceful and creative. That is, if it is done correctly!

Incorrectly done, it can cause conflict and clash in the natural flow of the electric impulses and produce headaches, giddiness, confusion and restlessness.

What then is the correct method? The correct method of meditation is to concentrate on the chkras, the nerve centres in the nervous system where, according to the Yogic systems, spiritual power resides.

Initially, one should meditate for very short but frequent spells, even for a few seconds. Gradually, over a month or so, as the neural synapses begin to develop, the period of meditation can be increased.
